Feb 2017, email following ‘The Neil Diamond Story’ Princes Theatre, Clacton-On-Sea

Having been brought up listening to Neil Diamond and also being lucky enough to see him in concert many years ago, I was a little nervous about the show as I couldn't imagine anyone being able to replicate such a unique and distinctive voice.

I need not have worried!

Myself and my husband were truly impressed and had a wonderful evening!

My husband and I were married at a hotel and one of our wedding songs we chose was a Neil Diamond track called 'I believe in happy endings'.

It is a beautiful song and I therefore wonder wether it has ever been considered for inclusion in the show?

Anyway, thank you for a magical evening at Clacton Princess Theatre!

Kind regards,

Emma and David Smith

Feb 2015, emails following gig at the Medina Theatre Isle of Wight

“We went to your Neil Diamond Story at the Medina Theatre last evening. What a brilliant, brilliant show. Bob's voice is undistinguishable from the real thing and the professional all round performance was fantastic. We are organising a trip to Devon in the Summer so we can attend your show at the Babbacombe Theatre. The new CD is nearly worn out after one day. Thank you once again and may you both achieve even more success.” Chris and Jo, Isle of Wight.

“Laura, it was a wonderful evening last night, hearing about The Neil Diamond Story, listening to those beautiful songs sung brilliantly by Bob. How does he speak normally one moment and then sing just like Neil Diamond. It was lovely to hear so many songs and listen to the poignant lyrics, I had forgotten many of them. I loved the guitar playing, Bob is so talented. The whole show was a delight thanks to you in the corner operating the sound system. Good luck for the rest of the tour.” Angie Powell

Have just returned from the show at the Medina Theatre in Newport. Thank you for a great evening’s entertainment.” Lesley Curran.

I am a huge Neil Diamond fan. First saw him live at Woburn Abbey 1977. Have seen him every time he has been to UK since. I must say say Bob does a magnificent job of his songs and is a pleasure to listen to.

Great to hear that he did songs that only true fans know.NOT just the hit ones(which true fans hate).

“Dear Bob and Laura, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Bob's show on Saturday night at Sevenoaks. Bob is such a talented performer with a powerful voice and good range and an excellent guitar player. Bob showed his love and respect for the work of Neil and sang with a passion and emotion that really reached across to the audience. I was completely drained by the end of the evening. I have seen many tribute bands over the years but I have never seen Bob perform. His was one of the best if not the best I have ever seen. Thank you for such an incredible evening. I think the quality of Bob's performance and the faithful and sincere respect he has for the work of Neil Diamond deserves a wide audience. I would be delighted for you to use my comments in full or in part. Kind regards” Alan Pattinson
